About Me

I was born in Barcelona, Spain, but grew up in a small village in Germany (think cobblestone roads and medieval buildings). I roamed the endless forest that was my backyard, making friends with fairies and gnomes, and living in kingdoms that transported me to a world of creative storytelling from a very young age.

When I was 9, my father’s work took us to Miami, FL, where I learned English in three months and discovered the joy of theater.

I began performing and training in local and national theaters, completing three consecutive summers at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in their Young Actors program.

I was ready to be an actor! Almost… I needed to move to Los Angeles and get an agent, I told my parents.

“Great, we’re moving to China”, my parents said (that decision was not personal I realize now but rather my father’s next job). Off to China, we went. While I appreciate the cultural experience in retrospect, I chose to return to Miami to finish high school on my own.

Assuming the acting dream had sailed, I focused heavily on my education, a path that took me to a B.A. in Psychology from CU Boulder and ultimately to medical school.

I never set foot in a medical school classroom because the heart wants what it wants and mine wanted to be an actor. Still, I am eternally grateful for the person I became through the trials of countless pre-med classes, my research thesis, two years of night shifts in the ER, hours shadowing doctors in the clinic and the OR, and working in health care during the peak of COVID-19.

In my free time, I draw, paint, knit, and bake. I am a huge cannoli fanatic and trying to master the perfect crispy outer shell. These days, I consider Colorado to be my home state and enjoy all the nature it offers.
